[ Help find a webcam host ] [ Best of The Beach ]

After nearly seven years the Rye Beach webcams are now off-line.  The location from which these webcams broadcast is undergoing substantial work.  The webcams will be down for 6-12 months.  Sorry.  If you know anyone who has an oceanfront location on Jenness Beach or Wallis Sands Beach with full-time internet access who'd volunteer to host these webcams, email us here.  Equipment, expertise and web hosting are all available (click the link above for details on what's needed to host).  Also, the "Best of the Beach" page has been expanded to offer 72 interesting shots of Rye Beach, and more will be posted as I find them scattered over several computers.  And to all those who've already emailed to say thanks for the webcam views -- we have loved these little windows to the beach just as you have.  One day we'll all enjoy them again!
